Trade Show Collateral
Challenge
At previous trade shows, the team constructed an entire wall of siding, which was time-consuming and costly to ship and build. Nakamoto Forestry needed a lightweight, eye-catching display that would stand out in large, densely packed construction trade show venues and drive potential customers to explore their unique lumber products.
Solution
Many options for a booth were explored to reduce weight and costs; ultimately, high-resolution, tension fabric graphics were chosen, stretched over lightweight aluminum frames. I presented a variety of image options and layouts for the booth elements and we chose to let the natural beauty of the wood texture shine. The background and pedestal showcase siding textures and colors at 1:1 scale. A closeup of the client’s most prestigious wood surface was used for the hanging display to catch potential customers’ eyes from afar. Booth staff have a selection of large siding samples to view and smaller samples to hand out with a flyer printed on FSC-certified paper with water-based ink (shown below).
Result
Nakamoto Forestry has a beautiful, striking display, saving them time, money, and effort during 4-6 trade shows annually. This gives the team time to focus on potential customer interactions.
